Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

I know a lot of suggestions have rolled in lately, but this one's simple:

Suggestion: If there are 0 (human) players on a team, make 1 AI go to weapons and the rest mine.

Reason: Sometimes I find myself in a CC lobby with a new player who is interested in the game, but we just can't get anyone else to join. So we end up doing a 2v0 and I show him around a bit. I find this sort of co-op tutorial a far better alternative to the actual tutorial, which is at best weak. However, I can't give the new player the full experience because there are no enemy small ships and the enemy BC just sits and does not fire back. I think having a couple of miners to shoot down and the enemy BC to fire back just a weak single burst would improve the overall experience.

Note: I think this should not happen in Test Mode.

I have requested this many times before.. not sure why it's hard to implement (actually I suggested weps/sci/refine/miners, but whatever) - the concept is the same

its been 4 years since any changes were made to the tutorial, and seeing the state of the community right now, i see little benefit to it. I would rather Siretu focus on the standalone, and work on a tutorial there. The SC2 version would have little benefit from a tutorial in my opinion because very few new players actually play the tutorial, but rather go straight into multiplayer games.

Dreadnought, puppetbones isn't suggesting modifying the tutorial, but rather modifying what happens in a game with no human players on one team.

I think it's a good idea, and it should be easy to implement. I don't think I've ever said it's hard to implement, but not all ideas get thrown in the first time around.
