Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

Not just Coop, PVP or maybe some CTF.. What about game modes such as, where you get a fortress rather than a battlecruiser? Maybe 4 teams of 6, or attack and defend in which one team has a fortress and the other has a battlecruiser? Maybe some survival/somewhat open world? Or possibly a small ships only game where it's a simple deathmatch, with the added bonus of extra teamwork on part of the players?
Gives us something to discuss anyway. ^.^

Ok...sounds fun! but first before we start doing crazy number modes we need to set our standard mode first O.o
Is it going to be our original 6v6? or crank it up to 8v8 or 10v10, maybe 15v15 or 20v20...Whats the standard (i for one am for 15v15 lol)

Adventure mode - basicly you dont have an enemy BC to fight with, its more like a co-op mode

you 15(or so) unfortunate souls will embark on a journey...to stay alive! Gather minerals from pirate infested areas, grab that much needed tech from boss fights and secluded areas where that massive and bulky BC cant enter. Bosses will continually get harder and stronger as the game progresses, also other side missions, like take out those factories that keep spawning waves of enemies that are slowly picking you apart from across the map from jealous captains and admirals.
Also 'heroic' mode for much more strong and mechanically difficult bosses =)

Open world basically? :P

And l agree that Siretu should make the standard gamemode first, which l would personally assume to be as or similar to what it is now. But nothing was getting discussed, so l figured l'd remedy that a bit. And it means Siretu should design for multiple game modes in the future..

I was wondering what people thought would be other interesting scenarios than the current BC vs BC encounter that could be fun.

Two ideas I thought of:

Space Station VS Space Station - basically the same as cruiser command, but the space station has less offensive weapons and is immobile, and perhaps there are key points to hold to earn resources (automated mines with light defensive turrets, similar to UT 2004 onslaught)

Cooperative - defend the battlecruiser from waves of increasingly difficult to defeat ai opponents
