Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

Hello I'm making this thread for knowing that gonna happen with CC when HoS starts, i mean are we moving to HoS? What your idea?

Unless the CC map start using HotS specific units/trigger/files or whatever, both HotS and WoL users should be able to continue playing together.

Caladbolg is correct. If you purchase HotS, you will definitely be able to play Cruiser Command. You wont even have to switch clients or anything. You can keep playing it just like you usually do. You'll be able to play with WoL players as well as HotS players.

There is an important thing to note here, which several people have talked to me about already. HotS assets (models and sounds and such). I know there's a lot of new cool assets in the HotS campaign, but if I use any of them, WoL players wont be able to play Cruiser Command anymore. I really don't want to do that right now because it will kill a portion of the player base(and the player base isn't that big to begin with).

cant the new assets be imported anyway? or made by hand if needed?

give it a little while while new assets are in the works, HotS will be dominant even with CC players within the next month id say.

just create a seperate file with HOTS changes so some of us can test it and see what changes are good and hammer out bugs

There's not going to be any bugs in that sense. If I use HotS assets, it'll all be visual changes like new models and such. I don't need you to test that kind of stuff and I don't want you to. I'd rather have everyone play the same version :)

As far as I could see, there are no differences between HOTS and WOL whatsoever concerning the arcade. It's exactly the same lobby and arcade games you have access to.

I wonder what happens if you'll use HOTS models, but I guess it will still work just fine for WOL players then.
