Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

There may be a time when AI's become the dominant players. There may be a time when coding surpasses the natural reflex and intuitiveness of a human player. In such situations we the players must come together to bring these bastards down.

I propose in the likely event of extremely talented AI (Insomni's dream and goal) All major clans form an alliance and bring them down, then post the replay on these forums so insomni can watch his creation fail, blow up, and die.

i dont think the ai will ever be able to win straightup unless they had bonuses like extra health and damage and 150% for refining

ever try to kill an upgraded AI miner? its kinda tough now, and their reaction speeds are extremely unfairly fast. They are superior to Humans in most senses, except time efficiency due to flight patterns and errors.

I was posting this as a joke :p but in all seriousness, the potential for AI to be better than the average player is extremely possible. They will lack the strategy we have, but their ability to shoot skills directly on their cooldown with pin point accuracy, their ability to increase power at its max refresh rate on all hotkeys at the same time, their ability to see what we cant and react to it two times faster (they cant see the south end of the screen the same way we cant, yet if anything is in a dangrous range southbound they move before the normal player would even know)

So it may have been for laughs, but seriously its possible. I just think it would be fun to throw insomni's perfect creation back in his face by showing us beating them in replays :p

Hmm, so would you be saying that one day we will be fighting the borg? The cruiser command borg? The CCBORG perhaps? ;)

an ai can be dangerous, but wwe can fight then. the borg have several weak points and at the end of star trek voyager they have been nearly completely destroyed.
