Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

I'll look at the destroyer issue.

I'm having trouble reproducing the AI issue, but I've heard a lot of people complain about it.

The vision thing is true. I was lazy.

Tips are nice. I've been lazy.

EDIT: I didn't manage to reproduce the destroyer issue. I could fire missiles both with hotkey and by clicking them.
EDIT2: I fixed the vision thing in the dev version.

I couldn't replicate the destroyer issue either...I'm thinking maybe the wrong missile was loaded or something.

For AI miner thing: I'll post a replay on AI Miner thread in bugs/glitches if it happens again

As I said before I could help you come up with tips. Also you could probably pull some stuff out of the wiki, but I would suggest having more strategy tips than stats/numbers tips.

not sure if you already have done this or not (as a observer-only debug message), but can you make a message that says "drone 1 was assigned to x, x, x, x" or something? that way we will be able to find out easier if it changes when a person hops on the console or not (and save us from watching replays for bugs only to find a noob messed with the AI's when we weren't looking)

Cant do observer-only debug messages I think. I usually display messages to the BC computer player instead. I don't have it for drones, but I do have a debug commands to show current status and order of a drone, but using that from replays requires using take command, and is kind of annoying because of that.

I guess what I was asking is for it to be visible to the entire team, ex: AI 1 assigned by slapshot to mine x,y,z - each time the order is issued

For the record, I'm looking to publish this in the near future. I'm just looking to get some translations from Sharp. These are the current patch notes:

5.2:
- Fixed problem with neutral’s team color.
- Kinetic homing no longer increases turning rate.
- Kinetic damage upgrade changed to 30% hull damage increase per level.
- Invisibility charge duration increased from 6s to 15s.
- Single bursts now have a small sight radius.
- Warp no longer has a 1.5s delay.
- Utility tier 3 now increases Battlecruiser energy production by 50.
- Added a 1s missile firing cooldown.
- Damage now causes knockback.
- Added Inventory hotkeys (F1-F6)
- Added hotkey for switching view (tab)
- Added missile hotkeys (F1-F6)
- Camera is no longer locked on the BC. There is a special global button with a hotkey(C) that can be used to turn camera locking on/off.
- Fixed issue with warp attracting enemy cargo drones.
- Economy tier 1 now gives a free miner instead of a chomper.
- Fixed a couple of bugs related to breaking consoles.
- Drone miners will no longer launch if there are enemy ships outside.
- Flying asteroids no longer persist on the minimap.
- Fixed economy tier 3 to only reveal asteroids and not the rest of the map.
- Kinetics and dielectric sensors now create attachments on the outside of the BC.

new minor bug: sometimes an AI won't shoot kinetics when ordered to, easily reproducible:

1. launch test game (one where BCs start next to each other with 1k minerals)
2. upgrade kinetics
3. issue drone 1 orders to shoot kinetics
4. issue drone 1 orders to refine
5. issue drone 2 orders to fire kinetics - watch it fire lasers instead
6. fix it by ordering drone 2 to fire lasers, then fire kinetics

possibly related to the miner not mining what it's ordered as well?

I think I've seen that bug too a couple of times, but I just thought it was a noob fiddling with the AI console. I guess not.
