Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

Wraiths are quite strong early game and very weak late game, unless you have combat tier 2 to cloak and fire missiles, they are only used for scouting and sometimes locking ships from docking by shooting the EMP (that passes right through the enemy Battlecruiser,which is handy).

One of the main reasons is the wraith projectile speed, early game where all other ships are slow, its easy to hit them as they have less time to dodge and get away. In the late game its hard to hit a moving ship as they can easily react and dodge.

How about a similar upgrade to the corvette?
First nerf the wraith's projectile speed by about 20% so they wont be nearly as deadly
Then introduce an upgrade mid-game (maybe tier 1 or 2 locking) by 40%

aren't they supposed to be? I mean they are the cheapest ship in the game cost-wise.. and they revive the fastest, etc.

I actually like this idea, it nerfs wraiths without changing them to much in the early game, and gives miners a chance to escape (still the same ship speed, but player miners will be able to survive better) and late game it will most likely be unnoticeable that it wont really affect the roles wraiths do like Slapshot suggested
