Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

So.. after the recent changes, there are a few annoying bugs:

1. the game starts in "space view", not "ship view", and doesn't auto-change

2. mineral packets cannot be shot down

3. while in space view, and using the elevators, camera gets stuck on wrong floor - have to go to space view then ship view again to fix

4. space view hotkey (c) is the same as flares (c)

5. tooltip on science stealth says 6 seconds, wasn't it buffed to 15 second duration?

6. AI miners launch and proceed to die quickly in the presence of enemy BC

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. There's a couple of problems though.

1. Unable to reproduce

2. Unable to reproduce

3. Unable to reproduce

4. Yep, fixed in dev version

5. Yep, fixed in dev version (also using a reference now so it'll automatically update in the future)

6. Unable to reproduce. I'm assuming you mean it's not supposed to launch with a nearby enemy BC due to the recent drone improvements?

I'm a bit confused on what fixes were applied when, but it could just be that it all got fixed by me unknowingly after you wrote this. I don't know.

by fixed in dev version, does that mean I can test the changes in the beta?

1. seems to be fixed, I can't reproduce either

2. still an issue, just tested (got a "Fatal Collision detection error detected. Restarting collision detection."
https://youtu.be/lawrpkaxKKI?t=260

3. unable to reproduce consistently, but the camera is still bugged sometimes
https://youtu.be/lawrpkaxKKI?t=332
for example then, why does the camera do what it does?

6. - yes, I thought they weren't supposed to launch, or atleast launch on the "safe" side

No, fixed in dev version means fixed for me locally, but not pushed to beta.

For the mineral packets, it seems to me that EMP doesn't crash it and normal weapons do. Without looking at the code, I think this is due to the new change with projectiles pushing ships. Since the cargo drone is not using the physics system like the rest of the stuff in space, it doesn't have any registered mass and defaults to 0. This has been fixed in the dev version, which is probably why I couldn't reproduce it.

I'll look into the camera and drone issues more and publish this to beta this evening and hopefully actually publish for real soon after that.

Managed to reproduce the issue in the video. It was caused by being in space view when launching a ship and then docking again. I also fixed an issue where you can actually use tab while in-space, even though the button is hidden, which messes up everything. I'm publishing this to beta as I write this.
