Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

A auto turret which is next to a science console has short range, so a marine with Gauss rifle or Sweeper can attack it without its counterattack.

Actually, I wonder if this is some sort of vision issue? I doubt that 'just that one turret is different from the rest.'

Doubt it's a vision issue. There is no cliff to block vision and if the player has LOS vision to the turret, the turret should have LOS vision to the player.

I can name a few situations in which that doesn't necessarily hold true, I.E. elevation, but fair enough.
Any other ideas perhaps?
