Cruiser Command

Cruiser command is a cooperative map between two teams. Simply put, each team controls one battlecruiser and the goal is to kill the opponent's battlecruiser.

I know there's been several threads on the subject, but I decided to create on specifically for this to keep track of it.

I've looked at the issue two times now (a couple of months apart). I just can't figure it out. However, all hope is not lost. I'm working on a patch (hopefully released today) where I'll add a lot of extra logging to help me debug it further next time it happens.

Anyway, to make it so I can solve this even faster, I'd like to ask for your help. If we're able to figure out what causes it or how to reproduce it, I can fix it very easily. So every time it happens, try to think about the circumstances and try to correlate what happened. Maybe it only happens on team 2? Maybe it only happens when the other team are using destroyers?

Any insights you can give me will help a lot. Also, if people could start posting some replays of this happening (only replays from tomorrow forward, since that will have the new logging).

Also, when it happens, check the drone console and tell me what the console says that the drone is doing. Is it "Firing", "No enemies nearby", etc?

I dont know for sure, but I think it might have something to do with missiles loaded, as it only really breaks mid-lategame when missiles/yams start coming out (for me, at least)
Again, i am not sure about this, but just throwing it out there as a possibility.
That was pre-recent update, but I have heard rumors the bug is still around.

we already figured it out, it has nothing to do with missiles, can happen at any stage of the game and should be fixed already or soon.

The bug I observed and told Erik about miners constantly rotating between mining/travelling/searching when there's just 1 asteroid barely inside their mining range still happens.
It severely hampers their mining rate sometimes.

I think I found the issue for the mining problem Degra described. I've published an update to "Cruiser Command Beta" on EU servers.
